Avenue Jazz is the varsity vocal jazz ensemble at Waukee High School.  Avenue Jazz has a tradition of strong achievement including consistently participating in the Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships, winning first place at the state level in 2023.  Members of this ensemble consistently audition and are selected for the Iowa All State Jazz Choir, and the group typically performs publicly about 5 times each year.

Soundcheck is the junior varsity ensemble at Waukee High School.  Members of this ensemble also participate in at least one curricular choir at WHS.  Soundcheck typically performs publicly about 4 times each year.

Timberline Jazz is the beginning level ensemble that involves singers in grade 9.  For most of the students, this is their first experience singing in the jazz venue.  Timberline Jazz performs publicly about 4 times each year.
