Waukee High School maintains a digital archive. This project is in collaboration with a firm that builds websites for schools and universities called TouchPros. These touch screens feature more than 50 years of Waukee School history. The digital screens are showcased in two places inside of Waukee High School. The first location is outside of the field house on the wall next to the concessions, and the second location is inside the trophy case in the middle of the atrium (by the main office). Along with the touch screens is an accessible website. This website includes high school yearbooks, team photos, class composites, and much more. The process of building the website began in the fall of 2019. Future plans for this project are to continue to grow and add new content daily to keep uncovering different parts of Waukee School history. We are eager to see what new things we can discover through this project and are excited to share it all with the Waukee Community Members! Submit any artifacts you may have of Waukee High School!
