National Signing Day at Waukee High School

Waukee High School held their signing day on Wednesday, February 2nd. Waukee had nine different athletes in seven different sports sign to continue their athletic careers at the next level.

Ava Carder is a 4-time varsity letter winner in track and field and a three time varsity letter winner in cross country. She was a track and field state champion in 2021. She is continuing running at Simpson College.

Aidan Hillis is a 3-time varsity letter winner in soccer. He helped the Warriors win a state title in 2019. He is a 3-time CIML All-Academic winner. He will be playing soccer at St. Olaf College.

Camden Kaufman is a 3-time varsity letter winner in baseball. Camden helped the Warriors qualify for state tournament in 2020 and 2021. He will be playing baseball at DMACC.

Kayla O’Donnell is a varsity letter winner in dance and 2-time letter winner for cheer. She has helped the Waukee to place 1st in lyrical, 3rd in Pom and Hip Hop at DTU Regionals. They placed second in Pom at state as well. Kayla will continue dancing at Grandview University.

Andrew Reiter is a 3-time varsity letter winner for Waukee Boys Swimming. He is a 2-time state champion and All-American in the 100-yard butterfly and helped Waukee Boys Swimming to a state title in 2020. Drew holds school record in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke. He will be swimming at the University of Indiana.

Allyson Roeth is a varsity letter winner for Waukee Tennis. Ally helped the Waukee Girls Tennis team qualify for their first ever state tournament. She placed 4th at state with Will Ecklund at State Coed Doubles. She will continue playing tennis at Minnesota State-Mankato.

Brock Seiser is a 2-time varsity letter winner for Waukee Golf and Waukee Boys Soccer. Brock helped the boys qualify for state in 2021 and 2022. He helped the team win the state championship in 2021 and he placed runner-up. Brock will continue golfing at the University of Northern Iowa.

Noah Van Wyk is a varsity letter winner in baseball. During his time with the team, he helped the boys qualify for the state tournament in 2021 and 2022. Noah will continue playing at Southeastern Community College.

Brooklyn Woods is a 2-time varsity letter winner for Waukee Girls Soccer. She Waukee to a second place finish at state in 2019. Brooklyn will continue playing soccer for the University of Iowa.
