Few programs rival the recent successes of the Warrior Girls and Boys Golf Teams. The two programs have combined to win 14 State Championships (five girls, five boys, four coed) since 2010.
Sugar Creek Golf Course is the home for girls golf practices and dual meet schedule. Beaver Creek is the home for boys golf. Along with a schedule of dual meets, the Warriors also compete in several of the top invitational tournaments in Central Iowa and also travel statewide to play the best competition in the state. Individual and team successes have allowed several athletes an opportunity to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
The girls’ team captured the large-school state championship in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018. They were also the state runner-up in 2010 and 2016 and placed third in 2011 and 2019. The Warriors have also won conference and regional titles every year but one since 2009.
The boys’ team boasts five state titles winning in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2018 along with a state runner-up finish in 2011 and 2016. They have been a Dual Meet Conference Champion 11 of the past 12 years.
Warriors have also had tremendous success at the State Coed Meet held each year in early June. Winning state titles in 2009, 2015, 2016 and 2018, as well as, runner-up finishes in 2010 and 2013.
